    Understand exactly what you pay for: We charge a fee based on a percentage of total assets managed, which align our interests with yours, when you do well, we do well. While our clients do pay transaction charges directly to a custodian or broker-dealer for trades, Pacific Excel Wealth Advisors doesn't earn commissions on these transactions.  This tiered fee structure is simple, transparent and easy to understand.

    • Access to Advisors, Investment Committee and support
    • Monthly statements from your Custodian
    • Quarterly portfolio reports and annual reviews
    • Ongoing advice, investment management monitoring and portfolio rebalancing


    Wealth Management and Financial Advisory: Delivering a personalized, high touch service through wealth management, this service is reserved for portfolio's that are $500,000 and above, you're provided the following:

    • A comprehensive wealth management plan tailored for you and your family
    • Portfolio diversification to help manage calculated risk and grow your assets
    • Access to professionally managed portfolios designed for today's volatile markets
    • Exposure to a wide range of asset classes
    • Priority access to Advisors, Investment Committee and support
    • Monthly statements from your Custodian
    • Quarterly portfolio reports and semi-annual reviews
    • Ongoing advice, investment management monitoring and portfolio rebalancing
    • Quarterly client educational events to stay informed on topics that could effect your portfolio

    Know where your money is held: Our client's assets are held at independent qualified third-party institutions such as AssetMark Trust, Fidelity, Schwab and TD Institutional. Our custodians have strong balance sheets, and their primary business is servicing client assets rather than trading for their own accounts. Clients have real-time online access to accounts and transactions.


    Separation of advisory, custody and asset management functions: This separation improves transparency and accountability, limits the potential for conflicts of interest, and provides for multiple independent reviews and oversight of accounts.


    Institutional investing rather than Retail: The retail financial industry predominantly distributes its products and advice through a broker; a person who introduces a willing buyer to a willing seller of a product. The broker’s job is to close the transaction between their “client” and the “market.” For brokering this transaction, they generally get paid a commission depending upon how much product they transact, irrespective of the benefit of the transaction to the client. In many cases, the commission they receive depends upon the benefit to the company that manufactured the financial product.

    A broker has no responsibility to provide “best advice” to either buyer or seller. Retail products, such as Mutual Funds, are designed to give the general public easy access to financial markets. Distribution and marketing costs, together with internal trading commissions, are built into these retail products to make them profitable for the large retail brokerage firms to create, operate and distribute.

    Institutional investments are usually handled by advisors or consultants. Their job is to act as fiduciary providers of advice for which they normally receive a quarterly fee based on the value of the client’s assets being advised.

    Institutional-level advisors and consultants can often help investors to bypass the additional costs of the retail brokerage market. Institutional account holders generally trade directly without the extra costs associated with retail distribution and marketing.

    No Minimum for Financial Planning or Insurance Only clients: Other fees may include Financial Planning or Consulting.  

    Financial Planning will range from $1,000-$10,000 (fees will range based on the complexity of the client's situation) one-time flat fee or $250/hour for needs based Consulting.  After an initial discovery meeting, the client will be given the project cost and project scope and the fee will be agreed upon before the start of any work.  From time to time we all have situations that call for professional advice and specific recommendations based on a specific financial situation.  A full written plan will typically address the following topics: asset allocation, budgeting and cash flows, insurance planning, investment planning, portfolio reviews, retirement income planning and social security optimization.

    For Insurance Only clients, the advisor will determine the suitability of the insurance product for the specified client and the insurance company in return compensates the advisor rather than the client.
