Financial Planning

Key areas towards Financial Freedom

Financial planning is the process we use to help our clients clarify their priorities and put our expertise to work in their lives.  With a clear, living financial plan, client's know where they stand and where they're going.

In cooperation with our Advanced Planning Team and CPA's, our Wealth Manager's design a plan for your current situation.  Our team will walk client's through the emotional and financial impact of life transitions and asset transfers such as:

Work Life, Financial Life, Family Life and Generational Transitions.

The following areas may be included if deemed applicable:

Our standard plan fee for most financial plans will range from $1,250 - $10,000. Certain plan fees may be greater than this due to the complexity of the respective financial situation.  Our hourly advice fee is $250 per hour.

Investment Management

Professionally managed portfolios

Our highly-experienced team of professionals will direct and supervise the investment management of your assets.  We believe that financial planning is also an essential part of investment management.  It’s difficult at best to invest assets without knowing a client’s financial goals.

Separation of advisory, custody and investment management functions

This separation improves transparency and accountability, limits the potential conflicts of interest and provides for multiple independent reviews and oversight of account.

Am I qualified to be a Pacific Excel client?

Our clients typically have investable assets of $500,000 or more.  We also work with clients who do not yet meet this threshold but are on a path that will get them there in the future.

What does it cost to work with Pacific Excel?

Advisory fees are calculated as an annual percentage of the assets we manage on your behalf.  Fees are set at an annualized rate based on assets under management:

Between $1,000,000 and $1,999,999 - 1.00%

A client’s effective management fee is the blended rate based on each tier.  All clients are billed quarterly, at the end of each quarter.

401(k) and Business-Related Solutions

Your employees are an important part of your organization’s ability to grow and thrive.  Offering benefits to your employees demonstrates your commitment to their overall health and future in addition to helping you attract and retain quality talent.  In working with small businesses, we have found that most are not satisfied with their retirement plans for a myriad of reasons.  Often benefits are misunderstood which causes underutilization and future liability for you as a business owner.  Items for you to consider as a business owner:

Our Second Opinion Service

...a message from Nathan Sadowski

As you know, we help first generation wealth creators navigate through important life milestones. We only enter into a handful of new relationships per year, many via personal introductions from our existing clients and professional networks.  In my 16 year career, I have never seen so much money in motion; so many people wanting to “check under the hood” and make sure they are on the right path. People are unsure of what to do, especially with what's going on in the world today, economically, politically and socially.

We now offer our second opinion service to help the people you care about. We’ll take them through the same process you experienced and help them get clear on where they are now and where they’d like to go.

One of Three Things Will Happen

1) We find out that they are in good shape and advise them to stay where they are, or,

2) We find out that they could better their situation. If we are not a good fit for their particular situation, we’ll be happy to point them in the right direction to a financial advisor who can work with them more effectively, or,

3) We find gaps in their current plan and feel we could provide a significant advantage in helping them reach their goals. We would then explore the idea of working together with them.

Self-Directed Brokerage Account

Self-Directed Brokerage Account

For decades, investments offered in employer-sponsored retirement plans were limited to a pre-selected list of mutual funds.  Today, many companies have enhanced their plans to include self-directed brokerage accounts, which allow participants more choice, flexibility and personal advice from a wealth manager.

Our wealth management team provides education and objective guidance.  We design a clear investment path based on participants goals, objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizon.

While participants are currently employed, our team can work with employer-sponsored retirement plans from Apple, Chevron, Kaiser Permanente, SAP, Sutter Health and many others.

There are many types of employer-sponsored retirement plans, including 401(k)’s, 403(b)’s and 457 plans.  Please contact us for more information.
